IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2023 – Overview

To apply for the 21 months MBA program, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 1600 for General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates and Rs 800/- for SC/ ST/ DAP (Differently Abled Persons). Candidates who have a minimum of 65% in all academic performance and above 85 percentile in CAT 2022 (for reserved category: 55% in academic and 75 percentile in CAT 2022) are eligible to apply for IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2023.

Candidates who are going to apply for MBA admission to IIT Kanpur 2023 will be shortlisted based on the basis of their CAT Percentile Scores, Academic Background, and Work Experience instead of Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI)

IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2023- Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IIT Kanpur MBA admission 2023 include the academic qualifications, category, citizenship, etc., which the candidates must meet while filling out the application form. To apply for the academic session 2023-25, an applicant must appear for the CAT 2022 exam.

For the General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) category

• According to the IIT Kanpur MBA eligibility criteria 2023, candidates should secure 65% and above in the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.

• The overall CAT 2022 score should be 85 percentile and above.

• Candidates should complete B.Tech/ B.E./ B.Arch with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12 or B. Sc. Engineering/ Bachelor of Science/ Master of Science/ Master of Arts in Economics with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program with an aggregate of 65% or a CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognized university, IITs, NITs, and IIITs are eligible to apply for IIT MBA admission 2023.

For SC and ST category

• As per the IIT Kanpur MBA 2023 eligibility criteria, candidates should secure 55% and above in the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.

• The overall CAT 2022 score should be 75 percentile and above.

• Candidates should complete B.Tech/ B.E./ B.Arch with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12 or B. Sc. Engineering/ Bachelor of Science/ Master of Science/ Master of Arts in Economics with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program with an aggregate of 55% or a CGPA of 5.5 on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognized university, IITs, NITs, and IIITs are eligible to apply for IIT Kanpur MBA admission 2023.

NOTE: Candidates appearing for the final graduation examination can also apply. Such candidates, if elected, will be admitted on a temporary basis. They must meet all the requirements of the qualifying degree when joining the course.

General Guidelines to apply for admission

Before going out to fill out the application form for IIT Kanpur MBA 2023, candidates should know the general guidelines.

• Payment of the IIT Kanpur MBA application fee is mandatory.

To apply for two years full-time MBA program at IIT Kanpur, candidates have to follow the step-by-step process below:

Step 1: First, visit the official website of the IIT Kanpur PG Admission portal -pingala.iitk.ac.in.

Step 2: Then find and click the “New User Register Here” link in the right middle of the webpage.

Step 3: The link will redirect to the new user registration page. From there, the candidates have to enter all the required valid information (First Name, Middle Name and Last Name, Email address, and Date of Birth) and click the “Register” button.

The same data will be used by the computer when filling in your personal details section in the IIT Kanpur MBA application form 2023.

Step 4: Then the 8-digit OTP will be sent to your registered email. Enter the OTP to complete the IIT Kanpur MBA registration process.

Step 5: Log in to the dashboard using the registered mail id and password.

Step 6: Fill out the IIT Kanpur MBA application form 2023 with valid information such as Personal details, Academic detail, Contact details, Category details, and Disability details.

Step 6: Next, choose the program to which the candidate wants to apply for. Then click the “Next” button to move on to the application form page.
