• Step 1 - Visit the CMAT official website.
• Step 2 - Now click on the tab which states 'Apply for CMAT 2023'.
• Step 3 - A new page will open where the candidate will have to provide all the required details under the new candidate registration tab.
• Step 4 - After the CMAT registration 2023, a login id and password will be generated.
• Step 5 - Re-login and enter all the personal, academic, contact details in the CMAT 2023 application form.

Step 1 - CMAT 2023 Registration

• Firstly, candidates will have to register for CMAT 2023 and will have to keep safely the application number that has been generated.

• Now candidates need to create a strong password and while setting up a password for CMAT registration 2023, they have to choose a security question so that in the future if the candidate forgets the password, it can be retrieved.

• Now candidates will have to fill in all the details accordingly.

• After providing and submitting all the personal details, the CMAT 2023 registration number will be generated.

• Now login again by using credentials to fill the application form for CMAT 2023.

Resetting the Password of CMAT 2023 Registration Form?

• Candidates will have to choose a security question and remember it’s answered as well.

• While resetting a password, authorities will send a verification code through SMS at the registered mobile number.

• Reset the password by clicking on the link that is sent on the registered email ID of the candidate.

Step 2 - Fill the Application Form of CMAT 2023

After registration, candidates will be directed to the application form of CMAT 2023, wherein he or she will be required to fill the following details

• Name of the candidate

• Father’s name

• Mother’s name

• Date of birth

• Gender

• State of the residence

• Category

• PwD more than 40% (Yes/ No)

• Types of disability (Options will be provided)

Now in the application form of CMAT 2023, candidates will have to provide information regarding the programme and exam city that candidates wish to apply for -

Step 3 - Enter Security (Captcha) code

• After filling in qualification details, candidates need to enter the security code which will flash on the screen. Candidates need to type the same in the provided box.

• After filling in the captcha code, click on the “Submit” tab.

Step 4 - Preview the CMAT Registration Form 2023

• After submitting the CMAT 2023 application form, candidates will have to review the filled application form.

• Candidates must recheck all the information in the CMAT application form and edit it if they have made some errors. After verification of each section candidates will be required to mark in “parameters checklist to be verified”

• After the verification of all the information click on the “I agree” button. Lastly, click on the final submission tab.

Step 5 - Upload documents

• Now candidates need to upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature as per the required size and format mentioned in the registration form of CMAT 2023.

• Candidates can upload the documents in colored or black and white forms.

• Passport size photo must be legible and clear

• After uploading documents enter the security pin and click on the ‘Upload’ tab.

Step 6 - Pay the amount of the application fee for CMAT 2023 application form.

Candidates can make the payment of application fees for CMAT 2023 through any one of the following modes.

• Credit card

• Debit card

• Net banking

• E-challan

CMAT Registration 2023- Important Points to Remember

• Candidates have to fill in all the details required correctly in the CMAT 2023 application form else it will be considered incomplete.

• While creating a password, candidates must adhere to the following terms -

  • Password must be 8-13 characters

  • Consisting of one lowercase letter

  • Use at least one special character

  • Must use one numeric digit

Instructions for CMAT correction form 2023

Before going to make a correction in the submitted CMAT application form, applicants should follow the CMAT guidelines.

• Correction is a one-time process in the application form of CMAT that is filled in after the update on any data is not allowed under any circumstances. Students are advised to finalize the application form carefully.

CMAT Exam Centres 2023

Group Discussion

• Institutes accepting CMAT scores will conduct the first round of group discussions. This round is supposed to be held in the following manner:

• Firstly the shortlisted candidates will be given a topic for discussion which will be based on current affairs or business situations.

• Then, the students will be grouped into 10 or more students and will be assigned an individual group topic.

• As the group discussion will begin, students will be marked on the basis of the following parameters:

  • Encouragement skill

  • Creative and logical thinking

  • Real-life scenarios

  • Closure skills

  • Leadership qualities

  • Managerial skill

  • Initiation skill

Personal Interview/ Written Ability Test

• Students qualifying for the group discussion will be further called for either a personal interview or written ability test or both.

• In the personal interview round, students will have to appear physically in front of the interviewee for face-to-face interaction.

• During the interview process, students will be assessed based on the following parameters:

  • Ability to explain past academic records

  • Personality

  • Prior work experience(s)

  • Confidence

  • Creativity and innovation

• Candidates appearing for a personal interview must surely prepare themselves with the questions like “What are your strengths and weaknesses” and “self-introduction”.

• The interviewee may assess a student's capability to take in pressure and managerial skills by asking interlinked questions. The candidate must justify his statements and answer smartly.

• In addition to a personal interview, some institutes might conduct a written ability test (WAT). In this round, students will be given a topic to present their opinion on. Through this round, the authorities will analyze the candidate’s writing skills. To sail through these rounds, students are advised to read the newspaper on a daily basis.

CMAT Final Merit List 2023

On the basis of the candidate’s cumulative performance, the final merit list will be prepared by the participating institutes of CMAT 2023. The final list will include the name of the candidates who will have cleared all the criteria of selection rounds. Some institutes will notify the student’s status through email or call letters.
