AP ICET Counselling 2023: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will conduct the AP ICET counselling 2023 in online mode. Candidates who qualify in the AP ICET 2023 to be held on May 25 and 26 will participate in the AP ICET counselling process. They will have to register for The AP ICET counselling which will take place in phases. The registered candidates can check the AP ICET 2023 seat allotment by visiting the official website- icet-sche.aptonline.in.

To qualify for the next round of the admission process, candidates of the general category had to score at least a minimum passing percentage of 25 ( 50 marks out of 200 marks). However, there is no minimum qualifying percentage for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Selected candidates can register for the ICET counselling process by paying a fee of Rs. 1200 for open and backward class (OP/BC) candidates and Rs. 600 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Candidates must register themselves and follow the prescribed procedure to participate in AP ICET 2023 counselling. All eligible candidates for AP ICET 2023 must pay the AP ICET counselling fee online to book their seats and appear for certification verification upon completion of the registration process. As part of AP ICET counselling 2023, candidates are required to verify their documents within the stipulated time provided by APSCHE. AP ICET exam 2023 counselling rounds depend on the number of vacancies.

After the entire AP ICET counselling process, the seat allocation order will be issued, and candidates will have to confirm their seats by paying the required admission fee.

How to pay the AP ICET processing fee 2023?

Candidates can see the steps given below to pay the processing fee for AP ICET Counselling 2023. Check the steps for AP ICET counselling fee payment online.

• Students have to pay Rs 1,200 for OC/ BC and Rs 600 for SC/ ST online by using a debit card/ credit card or net banking through the “Pay Processing Fee” link on the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

• All candidates from Rank 1 to last can pay the processing fee from September 2023, onwards.

• To pay the AP ICET 2023 counselling processing fee, visit the official website and click on the “Payment processing fee” tab.

• Now enter APICET 2023 hall ticket number and rank and click on pay fee online.

• Candidates will be directed to the payment gateway.

• Now select a mode of payment e.g. credit/ debit card or net banking and enter the required details.

• Once the payment is successful then click on the print button and take a printout of it and produce it at the time of the AP ICET 2023 certificate verification process.

• Candidates shall note that they shall have paid the processing fee when the candidate attends for certificate verification as per the schedule and ranks mentioned against each date.

• The processing fee should be paid online by the student before he/ she attends certificate verification.

Stage 2: AP ICET counselling registration and certificate verification

• AP ICET 2023 counselling registration is being done online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

• All the certificates will be validated by the system. If a required candidate needs to enter the certificate details and need to upload the corresponding file. Only JPEG, JPG & PDF formats are allowed.

• All the uploaded files, chosen by the candidate at the time of registration will be sent to the certificate Verification officer.

• Candidate eligibility will be verified based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying exam.

• EWS certificate and Caste certificate entered by the candidate will be verified by the system.

• The candidate has to enter the correct certificate number. If a candidate does not enter the correct certificate number or could not be validated then the system will prompt for uploading the certificate. The same shall be verified by the verification officer.

• Income certificate to be uploaded in order to be eligible for Fee Reimbursement.

• Minority candidates can select the Appropriate “Minority-Muslim” or “Minority-Christian” carefully and upload the certificate.

Stage 3: Verification of certificate

Check all the details printed on the verification form such as

• Local area

• Minority

• Sex

• Special reservation category

• Category

• Mobile number

• Date of birth

• Fee reimbursement etc

• If the candidate finds any mistake, then in such a case report to the verification officer for correction.

• If a candidate belongs to SC/ ST/ OBC category, they will have to report to a caste verification officer and will have to submit the original caste certificate for clearance and verification.

• Those who belong to Open Competition (OC) category, have a direct report to the certificate verification officer at the time of AP ICET counselling 2023.

• Now verification officer will verify candidates’ original certificates such as hall ticket, AP ICET rank card 2023, study certificate, marks memo, income certificate, etc.

• A print of receipt of the certificate will be given to candidates and if candidates find any discrepancy then in such case report to the chief verification officer for correction. After verifying the data append the signature in the prescribed place.

• The seat allotment process and displaying of options will depend on the accuracy of the data.

• Candidates will have to download the manual option form, college list, and tuition fee details from the official website.

Stage 4: Preparatory work to be made by the candidate at their home for exercising options

• Exercising options means, candidates will have to select the college and course in which they wish to join and arrange them in the order of priority.

• Go through with the profile of the college, course duration, availability of courses, and prospects (job/ academic opportunities). Candidates need to discuss and decide on their interest in a particular course, availability of hostel, distance from their place, financial ability, family background, etc.

• Also, consult with parents/ friends on the selection of colleges and courses which one wishes to join.

• Candidates can also take a manual option form in which they have to fill in the district code, course code, and college code which they wish to join in order of their preference against the option number.

• Seat allotment will be based on Local Area, Rank, Reservation category, Gender, etc in order of preference the candidate has chosen.

AP ICET Manual Option Form

• Seats are allotted on the basis of the candidate’s choice which will depend upon the number of seats available in a course and college for the candidates’ local area, sex, and category. If a seat is not available in Option No. 1, then in such case Option No 2 will be considered for allotment and so on.

• It is not mandatory to fill the options in a sequence of all the courses in a particular college at the time of AP ICET counselling 2023. One can enter any number of options of any college in order to his or her choice.

• Candidates are advised not to enter the option in which he or she is not interested to join.

• For entering options on the computer screen, candidates can fill in the manual option form. It will save candidates time.

Stage 5: Process to be followed for exercising options on web/ Internet

Candidates can enter the options online.

Steps to be followed for entering the options on the web for AP ICET 2023 counselling

• Visit the official website/Enter the URL through the internet

• Password generation

• Option entry

• Log out

Step 1: Entering the URL through the internet

• Double click on (Internet Explorer/ Google Chrome).

• Make sure that the computer which one is using contains Windows 7 operating system, Internet Explorer version 9.0 or above.

• Now enter URL or website address (apicet.nic.in).

• After entering the above-provided website address, candidates will be landed up on a home page which will contain the links regarding the information such as a list of courses, AP ICET counselling 2023 procedure, list of helpline centres, college profiles, etc.

Step 2: Generation of Password

• Now candidates need to click on the “Candidates Registration” button to generate a password. Enter all the details such as Registration Number, Rank, Hall ticket number, and Date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY format) as printed on the receipt of the certificate given on certificate verification

• Now click on the “Generate Password” button.

• In the “Password” box, candidates need to enter the password (which should be 8 characters in length and a maximum of 10 with at least one numerical).

• Now re-enter the same password in the “Re-enter password” box.

• Enter the same mobile number that one has provided at the time of certificate verification.

• Now click on the “Save Password” button.

• Click on the “Logout” tab. By doing this candidates’ registration is completed and candidates will come back to the home page.

Step 3: Option Entry

After completion of registration and generation of password, now click on Candidates Login for exercising the options. Login ID is a secret number that will be communicated to candidates registered mobile by SMS.

f in case candidates haven’t received login ID or have forgotten it, candidates will have to send an SMS from candidates registered mobile to 8790499899 in the format of APICET01 (Hall Ticket number)

• To enter your option entry screen, enter Login ID, Hall Ticket Number, Password, and Date of Birth and click on the Sign In button.

• In case a candidate needs any explanation about a different menu clicks on “Help Screen”. Read all the explanations about various menu items, and click on the “Click here to enter options” button, It will display the screen which will consist of various districts along with checkboxes

• Candidates can choose one or more districts to display the colleges in that district.

• Now click on the “Display Option Entry form” for exercising the options.

• On the screen, different colors are used for the display of Girl Colleges, universities, Minority Institutions, etc.

• Now enter the hall ticket number in the box provided.

• After already filling out the manual option form, candidates need to enter the option numbers in the boxes on the screen against the course and college in which candidates are interested to join.

Step 4: Logout

• After completion of option entry, candidates need to click on “Logout”, which displays an alert. A message with three buttons such as “Save and Logout”, “Confirm Logout”, and “Cancel Logout”.

• Click on “Cancel Logout” to retain the option entry form to add some more options.

• Click on the “Save & Logout” button to save the options.

• Click on the “Confirm Logout” button- It will directly display the details of saved options.

Stage 5: Final allotment of seats

The allotment of seats will be processed on the date mentioned in the notification based on category, merit, local area, sex, special reservation category, etc. Candidates will have to download the allotment order via “Candidate Login”.
