The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad is a deemed to be University which was established in 2011. It is an off-campus college of TISS and also has been approved by UGC. The college was set under the governance of Government of Andhra Pradesh.

M.A	Specialization: Development Studies, Education, Natural Resources & Governance, Public Policy and Governance, Rural Development and Governance, Women's Studies Eligibility: Candidate must have successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum of 3- or 4-years duration or its equivalent. Fees- INR 1,04,600/-
PhD	Specialization: Social Sciences Eligibility: Candidate must have a Second-Class Master’s or equivalent degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university in India or abroad, with at least an average of 55 percent of aggregate marks, or a grade point average of 3.5 under the seven-point scale of the University Grants Commission (UGC) + 5 years Post PG work experience. Fees- INR 31,000/-

TISS Hyderabad Admission

Admission at TISS, Hyderabad is based on merit for the postgraduate and M.phil/PhD degrees. The candidate applying for PhD course has to submit a research proposal consisting of approximately 1,000 words indicating the Specification of the broad field of study, Statement of the research problem and scope and objectives of the study. The candidate’s research/work experience in that area can also be submitted along with this.

They have to fill the personal and qualification details in the application form.
Along with the details some of the documents are also required. They are : Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash), Caste Certificate (if any)
The payment for the application form can be done either online through credit card/ debit card/ Net Banking or through cash deposit in the bank.
