Institute of Public Enterprise offers post graduation diploma in management (PGDM) course in different fields of management and a doctoral programme in management and social science. It also offers MBA (P.E) which is a part-time evening course along with an executive-PGDM course of 15 months duration.

The PGDM courses offered at IPE are approved by AICTE and also recognized as equivalent to MBA by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The institute always remains up-to-date in terms of course structure, its usefulness, quality and teaching methodology. IPE Hyderabad works in close connection with the industries through industrial visits, study tours, long term projects, short term projects and weekend lectures by professionals of the company. The faculty of the institute has deep exposure in training, research and consultancy which helps to prepare the students as per the industry objectives.

The fee for PGDM courses ranges from Rs. 3, 60,000 to Rs. 4, 55,000 annually. Apart from that, Student has to pay a one-time caution deposit of Rs. 15000 which is refundable post course completion and post adjustment of dues if any. The course fee for the executive-PGDM is Rs. 3, 80,000 overall. The institute also offers full-time doctoral programmes in management and social science studies. Some courses at IPE follow the trimester system, each trimester of 12 weeks and offers dual specialization.

Institute of Public Enterprise admission session is usually conducted in the month of April every year. Interested applicants can submit the application offline or through online mode. PGDM Courses at IPE admit candidates on the basis of merit in bachelor’s degree and score in entrance test CAT / XAT / MAT / ATMA / CMAT / GMAT. The shortlisted candidates will be called at the Institute for group discussions followed by personal interviews.

The selection of candidates in MBA (PE) course is through the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) of Telangana Government followed by counselling conducted by Osmania University. Admission in some courses is based on the merit of the candidates in qualifying degree examination and rank in major national level entrance tests such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ ATMA etc. The TSICET exam usually takes place in the month of May. IPE also offers admission to Foreign Nationals (FN), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWG). These candidates can register through an online application.
